Asteroidea marks the debut collaboration between London-based artists Akito and Yuri.

The 3-track EP of stripped-back club jams kicks off with the title track, "Asteroidea," a dancehall-leaning rhythm infused with moody, melodic motifs paired with bubbly percussive elements floating on a bed of pounding 808s.

The second track, "Rhythm Bird Ensemble," is a percussion-loaded excursion through choir ensembles and field recordings, peppered by Yuri's utterances and tuneful flair.

The final track, "VVS Coconut," raises the BPM and closes the EP with stone-cold bass stomps and rolling arpeggios.
